Shura Council Speaker Holds Official Talks with Speaker of Hungarian National Assembly

 Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh, today at the council headquarters in Riyadh, held an official talks session with Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly László Kövér, who is on an official visit to the Kingdom.
 The Shura Council speaker welcomed the Hungarian speaker and his accompanying delegation, emphasizing the importance of exchanging bilateral visits to serve mutual interests and boost relations between the Shura Council, the Hungarian National Assembly, and the two friendly countries.
 Al Al-Sheikh highlighted the Kingdom’s ongoing development renaissance and its continued progress under the Saudi Vision 2030, noting the major achievements realized on the ground that have contributed to sustainable development across multiple sectors and enhanced the Kingdom's regional and international standing.
 For his part, Kövér expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and commended the development and progress underway in the Kingdom, which he said have driven a rapid pace of modernization across various sectors.
 He also referred to the promising opportunities presented by the Saudi Vision 2030, highlighting the Kingdom’s leading role and its tangible efforts in promoting stability and supporting peace in the region and the world.
 Talks during the session reviewed ways to enhance relations between Saudi Arabia and Hungary, mainly in the parliamentary field between the Shura Council and the Hungarian National Assembly, in addition to discussing several issues of mutual interest.
 Both sides underscored the significance of activating the role of the parliamentary friendship committees between the two councils and exchanging visits and expertise to serve the interests of the two countries and their peoples.
