Industry Minister Meets with Confederation of Danish Industry CEO, Chairs Roundtable

Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef met here on Thursday with Confederation of Danish Industry CEO Lars Sandahl Sørensen to explore avenues for strengthening trade, knowledge exchange, and human capacity development between Saudi Arabia and Denmark.

 During his official visit to Denmark, Alkhorayef led a roundtable discussion with executives from leading Danish industrial companies. He underscored Saudi Arabia's commitment to becoming a global industrial hub, a key objective of Saudi Vision 2030, and highlighted the crucial role of international partnerships in accelerating progress within the strategic sectors outlined by the National Industrial Strategy.

 The roundtable, which encompassed sectors such as industry, transportation, and information technology, facilitated discussions on expanding cooperation with Danish member companies. Key areas of focus included industrial capacity development, digital transformation, knowledge transfer, and human capital development, all aimed at fostering sustainable and mutually beneficial economic growth.

 The trade relationship between Saudi Arabia and Denmark has demonstrated significant growth, with non-oil trade reaching approximately SAR4.3 billion in 2024, an increase from SAR3.9 billion in 2023.
