IMCTC Launches Specialized Program for Integration, Rehabilitation Centers in Niger

The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) launched the “Training of Specialists in Integration and Rehabilitation Centers for Extremists” program in the Nigerien capital, Niamey, as part of its efforts to support member states and enhance their capabilities in addressing extremism and rehabilitation.

 The program was launched in the presence of director of human resources at the Ministry of National Defense of Niger Colonel (GS) Suleiman Moussa, on behalf of the minister of national defense, and Head of the Ideology Department at IMCTC Dr. Mansour Al-Qarni, within the framework of the coalition’s programs in Sahel countries.

 The program includes the participation of 29 specialists from several relevant sectors and focuses on boosting professional understanding of integration and rehabilitation methodologies, as well as exchanging expertise in dealing with extremism-related issues through scientific and integrated approaches.

 This program comes as an extension of the IMCTC's efforts to support ideological initiatives, build national frameworks capable of confronting extremism, and enhance security and stability in member states.
