
Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters Kicks Off in Jeddah
The Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters tournament began yesterday evening in Jeddah and will run until August 16.
Hosted by the Saudi Billiard and Snooker Federation in partnership with Matchroom and the World Snooker Tour, the event is taking place at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City under the supervision of the Ministry of Sport.
An official opening ceremony marked the start of the tournament, which features a competitive atmosphere and includes 11 Saudi players in the preliminary round, highlighting the Kingdom's commitment to developing local talent.
As one of the four major international snooker championships, the event offers over £2 million in prizes and provides a significant opportunity for promising players to compete against the sport's top stars. The tournament is followed closely by snooker fans worldwide.
