“Refad” Real Estate Investment and Development Company unveiled its latest integrated real estate and logistics solutions, as well as advanced infrastructure, during its participation in the “Saudi Warehousing and Logistics Exhibition”, which opened yesterday, Tuesday, and continues until September 10 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. This initiative is part of its new strategy to improve the efficiency of supply chains, warehousing, and transportation, while fostering growth in the logistics sector within the Kingdom.
“Refad”, at its pavilion, showcased an advanced range of solutions for real estate logistics integration. These solutions demonstrate their capacity to incorporate adaptable logistics across diverse projects, serving key sectors such as food, pharmaceuticals, and e-commerce. They aim to create comprehensive operational environments that facilitate business expansion, improve supply chains, and uphold top standards of efficiency and sustainability.
“Refad” focused on its newest logistics projects, including a Grade A dry logistics warehouse at King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam. This reflects its commitment to advancing modern, high-spec logistics assets that surpass conventional storage solutions by creating real estate that offers greater efficiency, operational flexibility, and responsiveness to operator needs. The company aims to complete this development by 2027.
Abdulhadi AlQahtani, Managing Director of “Refad” Real Estate Investment and Development Company, stated: “Our involvement in the Saudi Warehousing and Logistics Exhibition allowed us to showcase Refad’s state-of-the-art infrastructure and comprehensive logistics solutions. It also facilitated meaningful discussions with potential investors, partners, and international service providers. The event led to promising conversations about future growth opportunities and new logistics projects, aligning with the company’s strategy to expand its presence in this vital sector.”

AlQahtani added: “At Refad, we see modern logistics solutions as more than just storage; they also improve supply chain efficiency and lower operational costs through sustainable, practical approaches. We are dedicated to offering solutions and services, and to developing real estate projects that support economic growth, aligning with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives to strengthen the Kingdom’s role as a global logistics hub.
The company also highlighted the “Refad Refrigerators” project, a key cold chain initiative in the Eastern Province situated in the strategic support services zone of Dammam Port. This project includes refrigerated and frozen storage systems with advanced temperature-control technologies, along with a network of smart logistics centres comprising warehouses and adaptable, eco-friendly storage facilities. These are specifically designed to strengthen supply chains across several critical sectors.
“Refad” also explored investment opportunities and future expansion projects, including advanced discussions to establish built-to-suit warehouses and distribution centers for several major entities in the retail and pharmaceutical industries, as well as preliminary negotiations with local and international investors to finance and develop new logistics complexes in strategic locations across the Kingdom.
Refad’s involvement reflects its strong commitment to supporting the rapid expansion of Saudi Arabia's logistics sector. It aligns with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the National Strategy for Transport and Logistics, emphasizing the importance of developing specialized real estate assets. These assets are crucial for bolstering the sector and strengthening the Kingdom’s status as a regional and international logistics hub.
