Women Development Organization Holds Meeting with Ambassadors of OIC Member States

The Women Development Organization (WDO) convened a meeting today with ambassadors and representatives from member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) accredited to Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, the WDO presented its strategic programs aimed at supporting the role of women in society and emphasized the importance of continued collaboration with member states to ensure the success of its future initiatives.
In her address, Executive Director of the WDO Dr. Afnan Al-Shuaiby extended an official invitation to countries that have not yet joined the organization. She reaffirmed the WDO’s commitment to working closely with member states to design and implement innovative, sustainable policies and programs that promote women's active participation across all sectors and support sustainable development.
Dr. Al-Shuaiby also expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s ongoing and substantial support of the WDO’s mission, emphasizing the critical role it plays in advancing women’s development and empowerment.
