Prophet's Mosque Receives Over 5.6 Million Worshippers in a Week
The Prophet's Mosque received more than 5,663,488 worshippers last week, with the General Authority for the Care of the Prophet's Mosque ensuring comprehensive services to support the well-being of both worshippers and visitors.
According to statistical data released by the authority, 614,651 visitors extended greetings to the Prophet and his two companions, while 367,729 individuals performed prayers at the Holy Rawda. All activities adhered to established procedures for crowd management and visitation scheduling.
The authority also reported that 46,731 visitors of various nationalities utilized multilingual communication services. Field services included sterilization and disinfection efforts, with a total of 24,256 liters used to maintain hygiene standards.
Moreover, 1,460 tonnes of Zamzam water were supplied during the week, with 158 samples collected for quality examination. The authority also facilitated the distribution of 179,056 iftar meals at designated areas within the mosque, ensuring comfort and accessibility for worshippers.
