Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources Issues 63 New Industrial Licenses

The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources issued 63 new industrial licenses in January 2025, while 103 new factories commenced production during the same month, according to a report by the ministry's National Industrial and Mining Information Center.
 The report, which monitors industrial indicators on a monthly basis, showed that the volume of investments related to new licenses amounted to SAR1.197 billion. These projects are expected to create more than 2,500 job opportunities in various regions of the Kingdom.
 The value of investments in factories that started production in January amounted to SAR900 million, with 1,504 new jobs estimated. This reflects the continued expansion of the industrial base in Saudi Arabia and the high pace of factory entry into actual operation.
