Shura Council Speaker Participates in Opening of IPU General Assembly in Istanbul

The 152nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and its associated meetings commenced today in Istanbul with the participation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation headed by Shura Council Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh.

 The assembly brings together speakers of parliaments from around the world, along with parliamentarians and representatives of international organizations.

 The accompanying Saudi delegation includes Secretary-General of the Shura Council Mohammed Al-Mutairi; Shura Council member and member of the Executive Committee of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Muhanna; and Shura Council members and IPU members Maj. Gen. Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Harbi, Waleed Abdulshakoor, Raida Abu Nayan, Dr. Reema Al-Yahya, Ali Al-Qahtani, and Abdullah Al-Madi.
