Riyadh Hosts 10th Arab Festival of Sports for All
The 10th Arab Festival of Sports for All, organized by the Saudi Sports for All Federation, opened in Riyadh with delegations participating from seven Arab nations: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, Egypt, Palestine, Morocco, and Syria.
The five-day event integrates sports, cultural, and recreational activities to foster regional cooperation, exchange expertise, and promote community fitness across the Arab world.
The opening ceremony celebrated shared Arab heritage and Saudi culture. The event's schedule encompasses competitive and interactive disciplines, including table tennis, archery, air hockey, boxing challenges, interactive basketball, speed-reaction arenas, mini-football, floor curling, and interactive cycling, alongside traditional regional games.
Hosting the festival reflects the Kingdom's broader drive to increase public sports participation and serves as a preparatory milestone toward Riyadh hosting the 8th TAFISA World Sport for All Games in 2028.
