Saudi Program for Yemen Development Team Reviews Training Progress in IPTC Project in Aden Governorate

A team from the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) reviewed the progress of training under the International Professional Teaching Certificates (IPTC) project, implemented in partnership with the SDRPY, the Hayel Saeed Anam & Co. Group (HSA Group), King Saud University (KSU) — represented by the King Abdullah Institute for Research and Consulting Studies (KAI) — and the Humanitarian Development Program (HDP), under the supervision of Yemen’s Ministry of Education.

The SDRPY team’s visit included a workshop attended by officials from the Yemeni Ministry of Education, HDP, and SDRPY. It also brought together 63 male and female teachers participating in the program, as well as trainers, trainees, and supervisors, to review feedback and assess training performance as part of efforts to ensure high implementation quality and achieve the highest standards of professional training.

The educational phase of the project spans seven months, during which participants receive intensive training covering 50 pedagogical and practical skills, along with field applications in schools to reinforce acquired competencies.

The IPTC project aims to qualify 200 male and female teachers from the governorates of Aden, Hadhramaut, and Taiz, enabling them to obtain the IPTC certification and strengthening teachers’ capabilities and enhancing the efficiency of the educational process.
