Quran Programs at Grand Mosque Intensified During Ramadan's Final Days

The Presidency for Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has significantly expanded its Quran memorization and recitation programs during the last ten days of Ramadan. This initiative aims to connect worshippers with the Holy Quran and its profound teachings.

One of the core programs is a permanent memorization program, available 24/7 for both men and women. This program boasts 1,230 students diligently learning under the guidance of 102 qualified teachers.

The presidency also offers a dedicated recitation correction program for visitors, catering to a wider audience. This program is divided into six daily sessions for men and five sessions for women, with a total of 47 teachers guiding 1,300 visitors daily.

President of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais highlighted the significance of these programs. He said that they are part of a comprehensive package designed to promote a deep connection with the Quran and its teachings using a sound scientific methodology.

Quran memorization circles are held in dedicated locations within the Grand Mosque. These include the basement and entire first floor of the King Fahd Expansion. The sessions are overseen by a distinguished group of experienced teachers dedicated to serving the Holy Quran through education and memorization initiatives.
