SDAIA Leads Development Drive to Empower National Capabilities in Data and AI
The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) continues to lead national efforts in building capabilities and competencies in the field of data and artificial intelligence (AI), driven by the strong support of the wise leadership for human development and empowerment with future tools.
This reflects the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to enhance the Kingdom’s global standing in advanced technologies, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
Coinciding with the Year of Artificial Intelligence 2026, SDAIA continues to implement qualitative programs and initiatives contributing to the objectives of the Human Capability Development Program, one of the programs of Saudi Vision 2030.
The number of beneficiaries of its training programs has exceeded 1,563,983 male and female citizens, including 14,495 specialists and experts in data and AI.
It has also trained more than 278 government leaders in data and AI and launched the second phase of the “SAMAI” initiative in partnership with 11 ministries to enable the government workforce to use AI technologies practically and responsibly.
These integrated efforts fall within SDAIA’s vision to build a national generation capable of leading innovation, achieving technological self-sufficiency, and anticipating the future.
Together, these efforts strengthen the Kingdom’s position among leading countries globally in data and AI and contribute to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 toward sustainable development, a knowledge- and data-driven economy, and global competitiveness in AI.
