Palestinian UN Representative Thanks Saudi Leadership for Supporting Palestinian Cause
Palestinian Permanent Observer to the United Nations Dr. Riyad Mansour expressed his gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their unlimited support for the Palestinian cause and the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people to self-determination, independence, and the establishment of a Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967 borders with east Jerusalem as its capital, as well as the right of return for refugees.
This came during his speech at the 21st extraordinary session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states in Jeddah to discuss the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.
Mansour praised the efforts of OIC member states, its secretariat, and the OIC secretary-general in unifying and mobilizing the Islamic ranks. He stressed that Israel is seeking to impose complete military control over the Gaza Strip, prolong the war, and obstruct the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, noting that the Israeli government has clearly and repeatedly confirmed this policy.
