Saudi Water Authority Signs MoU with Chinese Academy of Sciences to Advance Water Technologies

The Saudi Water Authority signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing to enhance cooperation in water technologies and develop sustainable solutions for water challenges.

 Areas of cooperation include developing advanced materials for water desalination, researching eco-friendly treatment technologies, conducting joint research projects, and organizing training and capacity-building programs.

 The MoU also covers establishing joint research platforms and developing technical solutions to reduce energy consumption and minimize the environmental impact of water production and treatment processes.
