GEA Chairman Announces ‘The Ring IV’ as Part of Riyadh Season, Featuring Four Major World Title Fights
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority and President of the Saudi Boxing Federation Advisor Turki Alalslhikh announced the launch of the fourth edition of the global boxing event, The Ring IV, to be held on Friday, November 22 at ANB Arena in Riyadh, as part of the Riyadh Season festivities.
This year's edition will feature four world-class title fights, bringing together elite boxing talent in what promises to be one of the sport’s most thrilling nights.
Headlining the event is a WBO welterweight title bout between undefeated Americans Devin Haney and Brian Norman Jr. Haney, with a record of 32 wins (15 by knockout), will face Norman, who holds 28 wins (22 by knockout). Both fighters are coming off strong performances—Haney with a decision win over Arnold Barboza Jr., and Norman with a fifth-round knockout of Japan's Jin Sasaki—setting the stage for a fiercely competitive clash.
The co-main event will see American David Benavidez defend his WBC light heavyweight title against Britain’s Anthony Yarde. Benavidez enters the ring with a flawless 30-0 record, including 24 knockouts. Yarde, with 27 wins (24 by knockout) and 3 losses, will aim to dethrone the American champion in a bout expected to be hard-fought and high-powered.
In the lightweight division, rising American star Abdullah Mason will take on Britain’s Sam Noakes for the vacant WBO title. Both enter the ring undefeated, with Mason boasting 19 wins (17 by knockout) and Noakes holding 17 wins (15 by knockout), setting up a battle of youth, power, and precision.
The evening concludes with a Super Bantamweight showdown between American Jesse "Bam" Rodriguez and Argentine Fernando Martinez for The Ring title. The match is expected to be a showcase of technical mastery, with speed, tactical movement, and accuracy taking center stage.
The Ring IV continues the Kingdom’s impressive streak of hosting high-profile international boxing events under the Riyadh Season banner, underscoring its growing role as a global hub for sports and entertainment.
