Aseer Border Guard Launches Marine Safety Awareness Exhibition

The General Directorate of Border Guard, represented by Aseer Region Command, launched a marine safety awareness exhibition yesterday evening at Al-Rashid Mall in Abha to promote safe marine practices and prevent access to unauthorized swimming areas to avoid drowning incidents.

 Targeting all segments of society, the event seeks to educate visitors on Border Guard regulations for beachgoers, highlight penalties for swimming in restricted or hazardous areas, and share safety guidelines for sea activities. It also showcases the Border Guard’s efforts in search and rescue operations and emphasizes the importance of monitoring weather conditions and exercising caution during sudden changes before going to sea.

 The exhibition is open to the public for five days, with morning hours from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and evening hours from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., offering visitors the opportunity to explore various sections and have their questions answered.
