Saudi Aramco Team Wins 23 Medals at World Firefighters Games in Denmark
Saudi Aramco announced today that its firefighting team won 23 medals at the recent World Firefighter Games held in Aalborg, Denmark. The team secured 6 gold, 9 silver, and 8 bronze medals.
Aramco also revealed that it will host the 16th edition of the World Firefighter Games in 2026, which will take place in Dammam.
The 20-member team participated in 24 out of 50 challenges designed to test firefighters' physical fitness, skills, and endurance.
Aramco noted that its firefighters faced numerous challenges while wearing full firefighting gear, including hose pulls, obstacle courses, climbing a 15-story tower, and sprinting. They set new personal records, surpassing their achievements from the previous competition held in 2022.
The team also competed in a wide range of events, such as the stair climb, 10-kilometer race, javelin throw, shot put, triple jump, 400-meter relay, volleyball, soccer, hammer throw, and arm wrestling.
Aramco highlighted that this participation provided a valuable opportunity for its photographers and videographers to document the event, enhancing their expertise and marketing.
