Former U.S. President George W. Bush to Participate as Keynote Speaker at the Fifth Real Estate Future Forum
The fifth edition of the Real Estate Future Forum (RFF), to be held from January 26 to 28, 2026 under the patronage of His Excellency Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, will welcome a distinguished lineup of global leaders and international decision-makers. Former U.S. President George W. Bush will participate as a keynote speaker at the Forum, held this year under the theme “Horizons Are Expanding, and Real Estate Is Flourishing,” amid growing local and global interest.
President Bush’s participation will bring a statesman’s perspective on leadership, resilience, and the global economic landscape — at a time when Riyadh is emerging as a central meeting point for world leaders shaping the future of investment, development, and real estate innovation.
The 2026 edition of RFF coincides with a major regulatory milestone: the implementation of Saudi Arabia’s updated framework for non-Saudi property ownership. The new system, effective January 2026, opens regulated pathways for foreign investment and aims to enhance the real estate ecosystem, support sustainable sectoral growth, and attract high-quality global capital. This comes as the Kingdom experiences unprecedented development momentum across all regions.
The Forum continues to distinguish itself as one of the world’s leading platforms for real estate dialogue, offering space for global experts to explore critical industry trends and future opportunities. This year’s edition will feature more than 45 sessions, over 300 speakers, and participation from delegates representing more than 140 countries.
Mr. Abdullah AlHarbi, CEO of the Real Estate Future Forum and Head of the FIABCI International office in Saudi Arabia welcomed President Bush’s participation, noting that the involvement of globally influential figures — alongside senior executives and sector leaders — significantly enriches the Forum’s dialogue. He added that the success of previous editions has strengthened international engagement, with many global leaders expressing their interest in joining the upcoming event.
Key themes at RFF 2026 will include emerging real estate technologies, artificial intelligence applications, sustainable building materials, innovative development models, sector transformation, and diverse financing and investment solutions. The Forum will also serve as a platform for signing agreements and Memoranda of Understanding between leading local and international entities.
