Team Hansen Wins First Place in 2025 Extreme E Finale Held in Qiddiya

The second and final race of the Desert X Prix, part of the Extreme E electric off-road racing series, concluded on Sunday in Qiddiya City, Riyadh.

The event was organized by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF) under the supervision of the Ministry of Sport, in partnership with the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and Qiddiya City.

Norway’s Andreas Bakkerud and Britain’s Catie Munnings of Team Hansen claimed first place, while Sweden’s Kevin Hansen and Australia’s Molly Taylor of Jameel Motorsport secured second.

Hosting the event for the fifth consecutive year aligns with the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its global presence, affirm its position as a leading sports destination, and a home for major international championships, while contributing to the national goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
