Prophet's Mosque Imam Visits Islamic University in Maldives

Imam and Khatib of the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah Sheikh Salah bin Mohammed Al-Budair has visited the Islamic University of Maldives as part of the program for visits by imams of the Two Holy Mosques, implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance.

 He met with deans and faculty members. Vice Chancellor of the University Dr. Ali Zahir bin Saeed Qasim praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's continuous contribution to serving Islam and Muslims, especially in supporting education in the Maldives. He noted that the university building was funded by King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, reflecting the Kingdom’s ongoing care for Islamic institutions.

 For his part, Sheikh Al-Budair delivered remarks commending the Kingdom's efforts in serving Islam and Muslims throughout its history—efforts that continue in the prosperous era under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He noted that the Kingdom remains committed to supporting educational and dawah institutions and championing Muslim causes worldwide.
