Over 400 Student Volunteers Serve Worshippers in Madinah during Ramadan

Madinah's student volunteers are actively serving worshippers in the region's major mosques during Ramadan, contributing to a smooth and spiritually fulfilling experience. Over 400 students organize iftar meals, manage crowds, and distribute copies of the Holy Quran at Quba, Qiblatain, and Miqat Dhu Al-Hulayfah mosques.
The Ministry of Education's Madinah Department reported that the volunteers have delivered significant support, including managing crowds in historical mosques on 5,597 occasions, assisting 351 elderly individuals with wheelchairs, providing 42,572 directional services to visitors and those who are lost, and distributing 18,238 packaged iftar meals and water bottles to those fasting.
This initiative reflects the ministry's commitment to providing voluntary services in coordination with relevant authorities, ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors to Madinah during the holy month.
