National Wildlife Center Delivers 13 Rehabilitated Falcons to Saudi Falcons Club

The National Center for Wildlife (NCW) delivered 13 falcons to the Saudi Falcons Club after completing their rehabilitation at the center’s shelter facilities, as part of its wildlife rehabilitation and care programs that contribute to protecting wildlife species and enhancing environmental management efficiency.
This aligns with cooperation programs between the two entities to promote biodiversity, support efforts to protect and manage wildlife species in line with best scientific practices, and highlight the environmental role of falcons as vital indicators of ecosystem health. The cooperation also aims to raise awareness of their natural and heritage significance, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Saudi Green Initiative.
The collaboration with the Saudi Falcons Club reflects the level of integration among specialized national entities, contributing to unifying efforts and exchanging expertise in wildlife protection and management, as well as promoting environmental culture and raising public awareness.
Since its establishment, the NCW has been implementing integrated plans and programs aimed at protecting wildlife, conserving biodiversity, and restoring ecosystems through sheltering, rehabilitation, and breeding programs, as well as conducting specialized scientific research and biodiversity monitoring using modern technologies.
