Saudi Human Resources Minister Participates in 44th Session of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs Council in Bahrain

Saudi Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi participated in the 44th session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs, held in Manama, Bahrain, from December 22 to 25, 2024. The meeting convened Arab ministers of social affairs and representatives of relevant international organizations. Deputy Minister for International Affairs Dr. Tariq Alhamad and CEO of the Authority for Persons with Disabilities Dr. Hisham Al-Haidary also attended.

 In his opening address, Minister Al-Rajhi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the government and people of Bahrain for their warm hospitality and generous reception. He reiterated the ministry’s commitment to advancing sustainable development across the Arab world through shared visions aimed at achieving collective aspirations on multiple fronts.

 The council deliberated on several priority topics for joint Arab social development efforts, focusing on issues related to social welfare, persons with disabilities, the elderly, families, and children. Proposed strategies, programs, and initiatives from Arab countries were reviewed to address these pressing concerns.
