Health Ministry Launches Inspection Campaign on Hair Transplant Services
The Ministry of Health has launched an inspection campaign targeting hair transplant services in dermatology and cosmetic clinics, as well as same-day surgery centers, as part of its efforts to enhance patient safety and improve service quality.
The campaign focuses on ensuring compliance with infection control standards in operating rooms, adherence to approved hair transplant protocols, and verification that healthcare practitioners operate within their areas of specialization and have appropriate qualifications and experience.
The ministry warned that violations by healthcare facilities may result in fines of up to SAR100,000 and possible closure. Practitioners may face fines of up to SAR100,000 and up to six months' imprisonment.
The ministry urged the public to report any violations via the unified call center (937), reaffirming its commitment to ongoing inspections to safeguard public health and ensure compliance with regulations.
