KSrelief Concludes Two Voluntary Medical Projects in Damascus
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) concluded two voluntary medical projects in Damascus, Syria, between 15 and 22 August 2025, focusing on pediatric cardiac catheterization and prosthetics with rehabilitation.
The initiatives were carried out under the Saudi “Amal” volunteer program to support the Syrian people, with the participation of 11 medical volunteers from various specialties.
During the projects, KSrelief’s volunteer medical team successfully performed 68 operations, provided prosthetic limbs to 75 beneficiaries, conducted 91 physiotherapy sessions, and distributed 50 wheelchairs to people with disabilities.
This comes as part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing voluntary medical projects through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to assist vulnerable and affected groups of the Syrian people and help alleviate their suffering.
