Saudi Arabia Competes at Regeneron ISEF 2026 with 40 Students
The Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF 2026) officially opened in Phoenix, Arizona, the United States, with the participation of the Saudi science and engineering team, comprising 40 male and female students representing the Kingdom across various scientific disciplines in the 76th edition of the fair.
The fair, held from May 9 to 15, features more than 1,700 students from around 70 countries competing in 22 scientific categories, with approximately 1,200 judges set to evaluate the projects during the judging day scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday.
Today, the Saudi students are expected to present their projects to the media as part of their preparations to compete in the world’s largest global forum for pre-university research and innovation.
Saudi Arabia has participated in ISEF annually since 2007 and has earned 185 awards throughout its previous participations, including 124 grand awards and 61 special awards. In last year’s edition, Saudi Arabia ranked second globally after the United States.
