Etidal, United Nations Discuss Collaboration

Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology (Etidal) Secretary-General Dr. Mansour Al-Shammari on Monday welcomed United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI) Acting Director Leif Villadsen to the center’s headquarters in Riyadh.

 During the visit, the officials discussed ways to collaborate and partner in areas of mutual interest, particularly in combating extremist ideology.

 During the visit, Villadsen was briefed on Etidal’s strategies and efforts to combat extremist ideology. He also was briefed on the key initiatives and partnerships launched by Etidal and the tangible results they have achieved.

 At the end of the visit, Al-Shammari presented Etidal’s shield as a commemorative gift to Villadsen.
