 The presence of Saudi women in the industrial sector in Aseer Region is reflected in a high level of competence and meaningful contribution. This coincides with the celebration of “International Day of Women in Industry,” observed annually on April 21 and established by member states of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization. This occasion highlights women’s pivotal role in innovation, production, and leadership, and supports efforts to build a more inclusive and sustainable industrial future.
 The day underscores growing global awareness of the importance of women’s contributions to industrial transformation, including advancing industries, enhancing sector competitiveness, and driving growth and innovation worldwide. In the Kingdom, it aligns with a broader national direction to empower women, expand their participation in the industrial sector, and strengthen their presence in advanced industries, research and development, and entrepreneurship, consistent with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
