Border Guards Conclude Marine Safety Awareness Exhibition in Tabuk

The General Directorate of Border Guard today concluded the Marine Safety Awareness Exhibition, aimed at promoting awareness of proper marine safety practices.

 The exhibition was held at Park Mall in the Tabuk region September 25 to 27.

 The directorate provided beachgoers with information on the regulations and instructions of the Border Guard for beach visitors, the penalties for swimming in dangerous and prohibited areas, safety guidelines for sea-goers, and the efforts in search-and-rescue operations.

 The exhibition emphasized the importance of adhering to marine safety instructions, monitoring weather conditions, exercising caution during weather fluctuations, ensuring the safety of watercraft before sailing, and calling 911 in the Makkah and Eastern regions, or 994 in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions for assistance in emergencies.
