Under Patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and on His Behalf, Riyadh Governor Attends Closing Ceremony of 7th International Arabian Horse Beauty Show
Under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and on his behalf, Riyadh Region Governor Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz attended the closing ceremony of the seventh annual International Show for the Beauty of Arabian Purebred Horses today at the King Abdulaziz Arabian Horse Center in Riyadh.
Upon his arrival, Prince Faisal was received by Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture Abdulrahman Alfadley and Governor of Dhruma Ali Al-Qarni.
Following the Royal Anthem, the mares participating in the competition were showcased.
Prince Faisal then presented awards to the owners of the winning stables. He honored the winners in the Yearling Fillies category, awarding the gold medal to the owner of Qaisar Al-Arab Stable for the filly Marwa Al-Aoun, the silver medal to the owner of Dossari Stable for the filly De Tharfa, and the bronze medal to the owner of Qaryan Stable for the filly Sandy RS.
The governor also honored the sponsoring companies and participants of the 7th edition of the show.
Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture Abdulrahman Alfadley, who also serves as Chairman of the Center's Board of Directors, presented a commemorative shield to Prince Faisal in recognition of his attendance at the event's closing ceremony.
The 7th International Arabian Horse Beauty Show began last Wednesday, featuring 451 horses owned by 240 participants from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, and the United States.
