Uzbekistan Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Visits Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition Headquarters
The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) received Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Nodirjon Turgunov at its headquarters in Riyadh today. During the visit, the ambassador was briefed on the coalition's efforts, programs, and initiatives in combating terrorism and extremism.
The ambassador was received by IMCTC Secretary-General Lieutenant General Mohammed bin Saeed Al- Moghedi, who presented an overview of the coalition's work across its four domains: ideological, media, military, and counter-terrorism financing. He also highlighted the coalition's capacity-building programs that support member states.
Al- Moghedi welcomed the ambassador and praised Uzbekistan's regional and Islamic standing. He also invited Uzbekistan to join the coalition to strengthen collective efforts against terrorism.
Ambassador Turgunov expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and commended the coalition's institutional efforts to support security and stability.
