Foreign Minister Meets with Tunisian Counterpart, Co-Chairs Fourth Session of Saudi-Tunisian Follow-up and Political Consultation Committee

Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met on September 9, 2025, in the capital Tunis, with Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad Mohamed Ali Nafti. The meeting reviewed aspects of bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.

 The foreign minister and his Tunisian counterpart also co-chaired the fourth session of the Follow-up and Political Consultation Committee between the Kingdom and Tunisia. The session discussed issues of mutual interest, regional and international developments, and the efforts exerted to achieve stability in the region.

 Both sides affirmed the importance of continuing joint work, enhancing consultation, and coordinating positions on the most prominent regional and international issues and challenges, in a manner that contributes to supporting peaceful solutions and consolidating security, stability, and prosperity in the region and the world.

 At the conclusion of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in diplomatic training was signed between the Prince Saud Al Faisal Institute for Diplomatic Studies and the Diplomatic Academy of the Republic of Tunisia. The MoU was signed on behalf of the director of the Prince Saud Al Faisal Institute by Saudi Ambassador to Tunisia Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Saqr and from the Tunisian side by Director General of the Diplomatic Academy Riadh Dridi.

 The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Tunisia Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Saqr, Director General of the Office of the Foreign Minister Waleed Al-Ismail, and Director General of the General Department of Arab States Ghazi Al-Enezi.
