Resin Art Showcases Hail's Natural Beauty and Landmarks at Local Festival
The "Resin Art" booth, part of the fourth edition of the Beit Hail Festival, captivated visitors and tourists alike at Aja Park with its diverse artworks inspired by the unique landscape and landmarks of Hail. The artistic showcase, held in a festive and traditional setting, added to the charm and cultural richness of the festival.
Visual artist and resin craft specialist Laila Saleh Al-Juraifani explained that resin art is one of the modern, evolving handmade crafts that has gained significant attention and praise from festivalgoers. The technique involves blending liquid resin with a hardening agent, transforming it into a solid form that can take on a wide array of shapes and artistic molds.
These include decorative household items, women's accessories, wall clocks, artwork, pens, rosaries infused with Hail's soil, serving trays, and a variety of unique handcrafted gifts—each reflecting the creativity and cultural heritage of the region.
