WAMY Announces Acceptance of 116 Arabic Language Teachers

The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) announced the acceptance of 116 teachers in the second installment of its program to train teachers of Arabic for non-native speakers worldwide in collaboration with a national education company specializing in educational technology.

 The six-week program includes intensive training in the teaching of reading, writing, listening, and speaking, as well as classroom management, test construction, and using electronic platforms. The program also requires passing a final exam and submitting an applied graduation project.

 Teachers from Britain, Italy, Bosnia, Guinea-Conakry, Nigeria, and Brazil have participated in this program, with a passing rate of 63.08%. Successful students received an academic certificate and a free license to teach 20 students using the educational platform for a year.

 Some 2,240 students are expected to benefit from this installment, with the total number of beneficiaries reaching 8,000 students annually.
