WAMY Establishes Medical Clinic in Bangladesh to Support Underprivileged Families

The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) has expanded its humanitarian healthcare efforts by establishing a new medical clinic in the remote Bagerhat district of southern Bangladesh, located 213 kilometers from the capital, Dhaka.
The clinic serves more than 350 families in the area and includes seven dedicated spaces: an examination room, reception area, laboratory, dressing room, waiting area, pharmacy, and restrooms. This initiative is part of WAMY’s broader field programs to improve access to healthcare in poor and marginalized communities and address urgent medical needs as part of its global humanitarian mission.
WAMY expressed its appreciation for the Kingdom’s leadership and people, recognizing their continued support for charitable and humanitarian efforts at both regional and global levels. The organization highlighted the Kingdom’s pivotal role in advancing humanitarian work that directly improves the lives of those in need and contributes to the quality of essential services provided to vulnerable communities.
