Education Minister Highlights Future Minerals Forum’s Role in Developing Human Capital

Minister of Education Yousef Al-Benyan stressed that the fifth edition of the Future Minerals Forum, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, is one of the important components for achieving the targets of the Saudi Vision 2030, as it represents an integrative model that boosts the relationship between education and the labor market.

 He made the remarks during a speech delivered on the sidelines of the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, and King Abdulaziz University. He noted that the current phase is witnessing a significant transformation in the nature of the relationship between the education and industry sectors, in light of the directives of the wise leadership, which have contributed to creating an effective collaborative environment between the government and the private sector, ensuring clarity of objectives and achieving sustainable impact.

 The minister emphasized that developing human capabilities is a fundamental pillar in the national transformation process, adding that this cooperation contributes to aligning educational outcomes with labor market needs, empowering male and female students, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge, and serving one of the Kingdom’s strategic industries, the mining industry.
