Saudi Esports Federation Chairman Inaugurates Federation of Esports Museum at World Cup Area “SEF Arena”

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Esports Federation, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan, inaugurated the Saudi Esports Federation Museum in the SEF Arena area. This area hosts the World Cup for Esports and represents the culmination of the Federation’s journey, showcasing its successes and highlighting the pivotal role that the Kingdom plays in the global esports scene.

 The museum includes various sections, with a special section documenting defining moments in the history of Saudi esports. This includes HRH the Crown prince announcing the Kingdom’s hosting of the Esports World Cup, as well as media interviews with HRH the Crown Prince, emphasizing the strategic importance of the gaming and esports sector and the Kingdom’s pioneering role in this field.

 Prince Faisal bin Bandar emphasized that the opening of the Saudi Federation for Esports Museum represents a milestone in the history of the Federation and the Kingdom’s gaming and esports sector journey. This distinctive destination celebrates the Saudis’ passion for the world of gaming and esports and highlights the significant influence that the Kingdom has achieved in the arena. He stated, “All this development would not have been achieved without the unwavering support of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, the tireless work of the Federation’s employees, and all our success partners. The journey is continuing for further progress for this generous country.”

 The museum narrates the journey of the Saudi Esports Federation since its founding on October 15, 2017. It includes a special section that honors the Kingdom’s champions, such as Musaed Al-Dosari’s achievement of the FIFA World Champion title in 2018 and the Saudi national team’s victory in the Overwatch World Cup in 2023.
