Saudi Arabia to Host Italian Super Cup for Fifth Time on January 2-6, 2025

The Ministry of Sport announced today that Saudi Arabia will host the Italian Super Cup for the fifth time in Riyadh from January 2 to 6, 2025. The tournament will feature four clubs: Inter Milan, AC Milan, Juventus, and Atalanta BC.
Saudi Arabia has hosted the Italian Super Cup four times. The first match was in Jeddah in 2018, when Juventus defeated AC Milan to claim the title. The event moved to Riyadh in 2019, and Lazio won the trophy after beating Juventus. In the third edition, 2022, Inter Milan emerged victorious against their rivals AC Milan. The most recent tournament occurred earlier this year, with Inter Milan successfully defending their title against Napoli.
The upcoming hosting of the Italian Super Cup underscores the continued success of Saudi Arabia's sports sector in organizing major international events. This aligns with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 goals to become a preferred destination for global sports and athletes.
