Supported by KSrelief, Prosthetics Center in Marib Provided Services to 587 Beneficiaries in October
The Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in Marib Governorate delivered medical services to 587 beneficiaries who had lost limbs from among the Yemeni people during October 2025, with support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).
The center provided a total of 2,091 services, with males accounting for 66% of beneficiaries and females 34%. Internally displaced persons accounted for 81%, while residents accounted for 19%. Services included the manufacturing, fitting, and rehabilitation of prosthetic limbs, as well as physical therapy and specialized medical consultations.
The initiative forms part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts, through KSrelief, to support the health sector in Yemen and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
