Interior Ministry Confirms Enforcement of Fine of up to SAR20,000 against Holders of All Types of Visit Visas Who Enter, Attempt to Enter, or Remain in Makkah, Holy Sites

The Ministry of Interior stressed the enforcement of a financial fine of up to SAR20,000 against holders of all types of visit visas who enter, attempt to enter, or remain in Makkah and the holy sites, starting from Dhu Al-Qidah 1 until the end of Dhu Al-Hijjah 14.
The ministry also confirmed the deportation of infiltrators attempting to perform Hajj among residents and overstayers to their home countries and banning them from entering the Kingdom for 10 years.
The ministry noted that visit visas of all types and names do not authorize holders to perform Hajj.
The Ministry of Interior called on everyone to comply with regulations governing this year’s Hajj season and cooperate with relevant authorities to ensure the security and safety of pilgrims, noting that violations expose offenders to legal penalties.
The ministry urged the public to report violators by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, and 999 in the remaining regions of the Kingdom.
