KSrelief Clinics Provide Medical Services to 2,483 Refugees in Jordan’s Zaatari Camp in One Week

The medical clinics of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) provided services to 2,483 patients at the Al-Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan during the first week of November 2024.
The general medicine clinics attended to 634 patients, who received necessary medications. The internal medicine clinic treated 122 patients with diabetes, hypertension, and asthma, while 285 children visited the pediatric clinic. The emergency department received 253 patients, and the dental clinic served 158 patients.
Additionally, 214 women visited the women’s clinic, while 51 patients with sinus, pharyngeal, tonsil, and middle ear infections attended the ENT clinic. The ophthalmology clinic saw 59 patients, providing necessary medications; the cardiology clinic treated 27 patients; and 51 patients visited the diagnostic radiology clinic.
The rehabilitation clinic treated 22 patients, 2,924 lab tests were conducted for 319 patients, and 144 X-rays were taken for 99 patients. Medications for chronic conditions were provided to 132 patients, while the physical therapy department treated 57 patients, with a total of 1,542 prescriptions filled at the pharmacy.
