Jazan Cultural House Organizes Specialized Workshops in Ceramics, Firing and Glazing

The Jazan Cultural House, in partnership with the “Hiraf” Cultural Club, organized specialized workshops in ceramic arts on Wednesday as part of their programs aimed at developing creative skills and strengthening the presence of handicrafts as part of the region’s cultural and artistic heritage.

 The workshops included practical training in firing and glazing ceramics, covering firing stages, types of glazes, and how they are used to produce a variety of color effects on ceramic pieces.

 They also featured hands-on activities that enabled participants to create ceramic works under specialized artistic supervision, starting from shaping and processing the pieces, through the firing stage, and ending with glazing techniques that give ceramic works both aesthetic and functional dimensions. This helped deepen participants’ understanding of the craft and provided a comprehensive experience of its various stages.
