KSrelief Implements Volunteer Project to Combat Blindness in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) implemented the Saudi Noor Volunteer Program to combat blindness and eye diseases in the city of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from September 11 to 19, 2026, with the participation of four volunteers from various specialties and in cooperation with the Al Basar International Foundation.
 The volunteer medical team examined 5,545 individuals, performed 406 surgical procedures, and distributed 1,150 pairs of prescription eyeglasses.
 The project is part of the Kingdom’s ongoing humanitarian and relief efforts, implemented through KSrelief, to alleviate the suffering of patients and the injured wherever they may be.
