Saudi Embassy Holds Closing Ceremony of Itqan-National Quranic Memorization Competition in Malaysia

The Religious Attaché at the Saudi embassy in Malaysia yesterday held the closing ceremony of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance-organized 16th annual Itqan-National Quranic Memorization Competition, honoring winners at the International Islamic University Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur.

 The competition was organized in collaboration with the Itqan Education Foundation in Malaysia.

 Out of the 1,200 participants from various Malaysian states, 173 contestants made it to the final round, from among which 54 were winners of the four categories of the competition: memorization of the entire Quran, memorization of 20 parts of the holy book, memorization of 10 parts, and memorization of five parts.

 The participants expressed gratitude to the Kingdom for its leading role in supporting the memorization of the Quran.

 Gifts, commemorative shields, and other awards were presented to the winners.
