Pilgrims Settle in Mina for Day of Tarwiyah

Pilgrims arrived in Mina on Dhu al-Hijjah 8, 1446 AH to spend the Day of Tarwiyah, as instructed by Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him).

The arrival of pilgrims was meticulously overseen by thousands of security personnel from various sectors. These forces diligently monitored the pilgrims’ movement into the holy site, working in concert with the integrated operations of numerous agencies dedicated to serving the pilgrims.

The flow of pilgrims to Mina was notably fluid, a result of a carefully executed traffic plan encompassing the main axes of the road network. Security aviation provided aerial monitoring from the skies above the holy site, ensuring the smoothness of this initial ascent phase. Various service agencies mobilized their full capabilities and resources to serve the pilgrims, in direct implementation of the directives from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Their directives enjoin all government sectors involved in Hajj to perform their duties to the fullest extent possible, in accordance with this year’s organizational and operational plans, and to exert every effort to facilitate the pilgrims’ performance of their rituals and worship with spirituality and peace of mind.
