Princess Fahda Al Hathleen to Honor Winners of Princess Nourah Award for Women’s Excellence
Under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Princess Fahda bint Falah Al Hathleen, spouse of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, will honor today the winners of the eighth edition of the Princess Nourah Award for Women’s Excellence at the Conference and Seminar Center of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University.
Winners will be recognized across six “theoretical” and “applied” fields announced for nomination last November: health sciences, humanities, social work, natural sciences, economic projects, and artistic work.
A total of 515 candidates from across Saudi Arabia applied for the eighth edition, reflecting growing societal awareness of the award’s importance and expanding impact.
The current edition also introduced enhancements to judging and evaluation mechanisms, adopting the highest standards of transparency in selecting winners, along with updates to the award’s overall framework in line with national and global developments.
The eighth edition focused on national strategic priorities, with themes reflecting Saudi Arabia's development context and global trends, including preventive healthcare, green supply chains, local manufacturing, social and cultural transformation, support for persons with disabilities and special needs, and the preservation of national heritage.
