Poetry and Camels: A Dynamic Duo at Crown Prince Camel Festival

The Crown Prince Camel Festival in Taif Governorate has showcased the deep connection between camel racing and poetry. Poets have excelled in composing verses that celebrate the unique qualities of participating camels, immortalizing their characteristics in poetic form.

Poet Hussein Al-Kouri noted that the festival has provided a platform for poets to express their creativity and passion for camel racing. He observed that camel owners often focus on their mounts, creatively describing their advantages, achievements, and physical attributes. Other poets may focus on the festival, its facilities, and its efforts to ensure its success.

Al-Kouri emphasized that the Crown Prince Camel Festival has opened new horizons for poets, allowing them to explore diverse poetic styles and themes. He expressed gratitude to the festival's organizers, including the President of the International Camel Racing Federation, Prince Fahad bin Jalawi, for their efforts in promoting camel racing and contributing to the Kingdom's cultural landscape.
