International Falconry Elite Compete at King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival
The 10th day of the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival 2024, hosted by the Saudi Falcons Club in Malham, concluded the international owners' competitions, where a total of 171 falconers participated in six rounds of intense competition for the prestigious King Abdulaziz Cups.
The international professionals' competition will take place tomorrow, Saturday, with 12 rounds of thrilling action.
The event, which runs until December 19, offers a prize pool exceeding SAR36 million, making it the most lucrative falconry competition in the festival's history.
The King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival has solidified its position as the world's largest gathering of falcons, earning three Guinness World Records for the highest number of participating falcons. The festival brings together top local and international falconers, promoting the cultural heritage of falconry, reviving traditional competition, and ensuring its legacy for future generations.
