The International Indian School Riyadh Alumni Association (IISRAA) held its inaugural ‘Meet & Greet’ event in Riyadh on November 1st. This momentous occasion aimed to foster connections among former students worldwide, providing invaluable resources for career development, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
The event featured distinguished guests, including Pravasi Bharatiya Awardee 2017, Mrs. Zeenat Musarrat Jafri, an esteemed Indian educator and founder of the school, alongside the current principal, Mrs. Meera Rehman.
The successful gathering welcomed alumni from across the region, with many traveling great distances to reconnect and celebrate their shared experiences.
Mrs. Zeenat Musarrat Jafri remarked: “I extend my heartfelt gratitude and congratulate the organizers for taking this initiative and bringing together the IISR community with this alumni association.”
She added: “This school is as important to me as my child; I take pride in every alumnus as if they were my own. Today, you represent different roles and positions – with some doctors, architects, engineers, teachers, etc. I am proud of each one and every one of you.”
Echoing her sentiments, Mrs. Meera Rehman stated: “I am very happy that my alumni took this initiative to form an association that brings together all IISRIANS from different fields, inculcating the spirit of IISR in each of you. I wish the organizers the very best.”
